Chewable Item Care
** Always clean your chewable items before first use and inspect them often for any damage. Replace damaged chewables to avoid a choking hazard. The cord and clasp are not meant for chewing and can cause a choking hazard if chewed. Do not leave chewables alone with small children. Adult supervision is advised.
Keeping your silicone chewables clean is important and easy. Below we have listed the different ways you can sterilize your chewable items:
Dishwasher Top Rack
All chewable items are made from food grade, BPA free silicone and are therefore heat tolerant. One of the easiest ways to sterilize your chewable items is to wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher. The cord with clasp should be removed and can be washed by hand with mild soap and water.
Heat enough water to cover your chewable item, remove the cord with clasp and submerge your chewable in the boiling water for approximately 2-3 minutes.
Mild Soap and Warm Water
Hand wash chewable items in warm water with a mild detergent or antibacterial soap. Rinse thoroughly with water and let air dry.
